60% Ethiopia | Werka Wuri (Washed)

Located in the Southern Nations of Ethiopia, Werka Wuri is a BNT owned washing station that processes cherry from over 750 smallholder farmers that surround the village of Werka Sakaro, a few kilometres east of Gedeb town.

BNT are one of the most prestigious Ethiopian exporters and are well recognised for their pre and post harvest premiums, which stand well above the local market rate in driving quality in their offering. Clifton Coffee is working with BNT and the Ethiopian government to add 5 classrooms to the school at Werka Sakaro, providing secondary school education to over 1000 Children.

40% Colombia | Las Frutas (Washed)

Nariño is one of Colombia’s 20 coffee-growing departments, bordering Ecuador in the very South West of Colombia, it’s home to the highest grown coffee in the country. The higher the coffee grows, the more slowly it matures and the more complex the cup profiles are. Nariño’s topography and its deep valleys make it a real challenge to grow coffee! Traditionally the region tend to have higher altitude farms, which comes through in more complex acidity and heightened florality in the profiles.
